Wear a little bird on your finger! This bird is made from sterling silver wire and metal. I took a piece of wire, hammered it flat and shaped it into a bird with the wing curling into a spiral. The tail feathers is soldered to the outside curve of the wing. I soldered the wire bird to sterling silver metal and sawed out the shape of the bird, filing and sanding it smooth. I left the metal smooth and untextured.
Bird measures just over an inch wide and just over 1/2 an inch at it's highest point.
The ring band is a heavy gauge of wire, nice and solid. I hammered a texture around the outside and soldered it securely to the center back of the bird.
The ring was given an antique patina left really dark within the bird silhouette.
Ring is a size 6 1/2.
To care for your ring simply clean it with mild soap and water. An occasional use of a polishing cloth is fine too. Just avoid exposing your ring to harsh chemicals.
