Handmade necklace with tiny, real pine cones electroformed in copper. Electroforming is a process that combines chemistry with an electric current to deposit pure copper onto an object. The result is a perfectly preserved pine cone inside a thick shell of copper. Afterwards, the piece is tumbled to burnish the metal, oxidized to create an antique patina, and sealed with a clear protective lacquer to help preserve the finish.
Each unique pendant comes hung on an 18" antique copper cable chain.
